The BWT AQAtherm product range provides heating engineers and operators with effective, environmentally friendly products for initial system filling, topping up, and sanitizing heating water. With no chemicals involved, these operations are completely safe, even without the need for respiratory protection or gloves.
At the forefront of this product line is the world-first BWT AQAtherm MOVE Power—a mobile reverse osmosis system developed by BWT Dynamics engineers in Italy. This power-packed device sets new standards for filling heating systems and can be used anywhere low-salt water is required. During the development of AQAtherm MOVE Power, the focus was on creating a compact, lightweight, and practical design, enabling heating engineers to fill systems easily and efficiently. The device is ready to use within minutes and can operate both as a mobile or stationary unit. Its innovative technology and intelligent design meet all environmental, work, consumer, and drinking water protection standards.
Once the heating system has been filled, the extended AQAtherm HWG series simplifies and promotes environmentally friendly topping-up by heating system operators. Since up to 5% of the system volume needs to be refilled annually under normal conditions, desalinated water is required for this process. The HWG series introduces two new products: the cost-effective AQAtherm HWG Eco and the premium AQAtherm HWG Premium+, which will be showcased as a prototype at ISH 2025 in Frankfurt.
The AQAtherm range is further complemented by new tools such as the AQAtherm HBA VE, AQAtherm HBA Soft, and AQAtherm HRA VE. These mobile filling systems are designed to produce either demineralized or softened heating water based on specific requirements. The AQAtherm HBA VE and HRA VE units utilize a pH-optimized mixed-bed ion exchanger with excellent flow properties. The simple, practical handling, especially when refilling resin, saves heating engineers valuable time. The mixed-bed resin is easy to replace either on-site or in the workshop, ensuring minimal downtime.
